Who are my penpals?

Hello ! Today I’m going to talk about my penpals and their countries.
My first penpal is Caterina, she is 13 years old and she lives in Nairobi, which is Kenya’s capital city. In her family there are 6 people: her mom, her dad, her sister, her 2 step-brothers and her step mother. Her favorite color is red and her favorite season is autumn 🍂. She loves reading , she has read all Khaled Hosseini’s books . Khaled Hosseini is a famous writer known for his book “ The kite runner”. She really loves art it’s her favorite activity.

Then, my second penpal is Mansur, she is 14 years old and she also lives in Kenya , in the capital city of Nairobi. She was born on the 27th of April in 2005 in Somalia 🇸🇴. In her family there are 4 people: her father, her mother, her sister and her brother.

Now let’s talk about Kenya:

Kenya is located in East Africa. Its capital city is Nairobi. Kenyan people can speak English and Swahili . Kenya used to be a British colony. That’s why English is spoken there and people drive on the left hand side of the road. The Kenyan shilling is Kenya’s currency.
Kenya is surrounded by Tanzania , South Sudan , Uganda , Somalia and Ethiopia.
Kenya borders the Indian Ocean .
Contrary to the USA, the rate of obesity is very low. Finally, like French people, Kenyan can vote as soon as they turn 18 .

Last but not least, my third penpal is Joshwyn. He is 15 and he lives in Canada 🇨🇦 , in the city of Ontario. He doesn’t have any brothers and sisters, but he has a dog called Ace! He goes to a school called Glenview Park Secondary School , it’s located in Cambridge, Ontario.
His favorite activity is competitive tennis 🎾 .
Let’s talk about Joshwyn’s country :
Canada is a country in the northern part of America . Its capital city is Ottawa. Two languages are spoken in Canada, the two official languages are English and French 🇫🇷
The Canadian dollar is the currency 💴. Canada’s nearest countries are the United States 🇺🇸 and Alaska which belongs to the 🇺🇸 . Canada borders the North Atlantic Ocean 🌊 and the North Pacific Ocean 🌊 . Canadian can vote at the age of 18 y.o
