A time capsule found by construction workers…in a bridge!

A time capsule was found in the village of Kingussie in Scotland.

 

 

After 121 years, it was opened on 26th August 2015. The capsule was a metal tin about the size of a shoes box. It contained a newspaper from 22 September 1894, a paper scroll and a bottle (probably containing whiskey).

 

It was found by construction workers who were working on Ruthven road bridge.
