What is netball?

Dear webjournal readers,

Today I’m going to talk about a sport: netball. 

This sport comes from England, it is mostly practised by girls. It looks like basketball but the players cannot move everywhere on the court.  It was first played in 1895 and became very popular.

The netball court is bigger than the basketball court and is divided into 3 sections.

Another important rule is that players have three seconds to pass or shoot.

There are two teams of seven players.

A netball game lasts 60 minutes ( 4 quarters of 15 minutes)

You must score more points than your opponent to win the game.
